Ms. Post is an Associate with Cohen, Fluhr & Gonzalez, P.C., where she focuses her practice on Immigration and Labor and Employment law, including work-site enforcement matters to ensure employers are in compliance with immigration laws.

Prior to joining Cohen, Fluhr & Gonzalez, Ms. Post was an Assistant City Solicitor with the Labor and Employment Unit of the City of Philadelphia Law Department. She began working at the Law Department in 2002 in its honors program. In that position, Ms. Post represented the City, its agencies, and its management in all aspects of labor and employment matters.

Prior to working for the City of Philadelphia’s Law Department, May Mon worked as a Law Clerk with Cohen, Fluhr & Gonzalez, where she focused on business immigration law.

Ms. Post often provides commentary on immigration, diversity, and labor and employment law matters to print media, panel discussions, and legal education classes. Her articles have appeared in Temple International and Comparative Law Journal, The Philadelphia Lawyer, Philadelphia Bar Reporter, The Legal Intelligencer, and the newsletters for the Asian American Bar Association of the Delaware Valley (AABADV).

In 2008, Ms. Post was appointed to the position of Treasurer for the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Campaign for Qualified Judges. She was also appointed to the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Nominating Committee and Bylaws Committee in 2008. Ms. Post has been serving as an executive committee member on both the AABADV and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division since 2002. In addition, Ms. Post is an editorial board member of The Philadelphia Lawyer and immediate past chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Minorities in the Profession Committee. In August 2007, Ms. Post was selected by American Lawyer Media as one of Pennsylvania’s Lawyers on the Fast Track.

Ms. Post received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law, where she was Editor of Notes & Comments for the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and received the outstanding oral advocacy award for Trial Advocacy I and the Albert P. Friedman Prize for research and writing. Ms. Post received her Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor’s degree from Haverford College. Ms. Post is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars and is a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, Asian American Bar Association of the Delaware Valley, and American Immigration Lawyers’ Association. Ms. Post speaks Burmese and French.
